The Beginning
My name is Ben. I am the first piece of the Rural Outfitters puzzle, but certainly not the last.
This began as a personal endeavor, a way for me to capture the feeling of being outdoors when everything else in life felt overwhelming.
Over time, it evolved as others began to see themselves in it. We are all on a similar journey, pursuing the same sense of freedom.
The Process
Every design begins with a real experience—such as a memorable hike, a night spent around the campfire, or a special place that felt like home.
We take our time and work intentionally. Nothing is rushed; we don’t create products to keep up with trends. Our designs are made in small runs with trusted partners who help bring our ideas to life in a responsible way.
We believe it's more important to create something meaningful than to produce something quickly. In a world that increasingly embraces trends and mass production, we will always choose this thoughtful approach.

When I started Rural Outfitters, I didn’t plan on building a brand — I just wanted to create something honest.
Now, I get to share these stories with people who understand that the best moments often happen outside of plans. Stories of long roads, missed turns, unexpected views, and the people you meet along the way.
